Sledding

Re-experience the children's playfulness with the sleigh ride. In Kranjska Gora you can experience this from Friday to Sunday, from 19:00 to 22:00.

Route length: up to 1000 m

Altitude: 183 m

Price: 7 € (including ride with four-chairlift Kekec, taking over the sleds and lit descent down the track to the lower station of four-chairlift Kekec)

Purchase tickets: On hand RTC Kranjska Gora Ski lifts from 18.30 pm onwards

General conditions:

• Children up to 6 years of age accompanied by the elderly may sled free of charge
• Children to 10 years of age may benefit sledding, accompanied by the elderly. The ticket costs 5 EUR.
• When guests purchase the ticket for sledding, they must show personal document.
• Using your own sleds is because of security reasons not possible.
• The track for sledding is secured, all users are asked to adjust sledding according to their sledding skills.
• Route for sledding is regularly maintained.
• During the operating period the sledding track will be closed for all other users. Walking through the sledding track is strictly forbidden.
• Using sledding track in the daytime is forbidden and RTC Žičnice Kranjska Gora do not take any responsibility in case of injury or other accidents.
• Using sledge is allowed only for 1 adult and 1 child. Two adults can not use only one sledge.

 

Ski mountaineering

Ski touring is becoming increasingly popular sport. Ski touring is a form of backcountry skiing involving travelling over the winter landscape on skis under human. With an experienced guide we'll take you on wonderful tours which are ideal for touring skiing. We can also offer you rental equipment for ski touring.

KARAVANKE:

1.  HRUŠKI VRH (1776m)

Hruški vrh is 1776 m high mountain, which is located between Dovška Baba and lesser known Klek. It's a very admirable area for ski touring near town Jesenice. From the top, there is a beautiful view towards the neighbouring Dovška Baba, Koprivnjak, Klek, Mežaklja and large sections of the Julian Alps.

2.  VOŠČA (1737m)

From the top of the mountain Vošča we're greated with great view, that opens from there. We see the mountains Špik, Razor, Prisank, Mojstrovka and many other peaks in Austria.

Small Mojstrovka is due to the relatively high altitude platform among the most visited peaks in the Julian Alps.

Cycling on snow? Why not! Snow bike or snow cycle

is extremely versatile and easy to steer. It is ideal for non-skiers.
Nothing is more fun than cycling on snow bike on melting snow.

The cross-country skiing school Udosport Kranjska Gora offers quality service and various teaching techniques of classical or skating version of cross-country skiing. During this selection you will surely find something for yourself, regardless of whether you have mastered the cross-country skiing or not. We provide quality rental equipment for cross-country skiing.

Apres-ski party

Join us in “Downhill from Krnica”! The ultimate Apres-Ski Party with appetizers, a full buffet dinner and live entertainment. Fun starts affter skiing and runs through until late hours.

Every Friday from December 18^th 2011 to the March   12^th 2012.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

15:00 p.m.	We drive by bus to the third turning on the road to Vršič, where we ride to Krnica. There a special vehicle waits for us and takes us to the hut in Krnica.
16:00 p.m.	Arrival to cottage in Krnica for the beginning of the ultimate apres-ski party. Appetizers, snacks and entertainment with animators.
17:00 p.m.	We are going to have an unforgettable descent, with head-lights on, the way lit by torches.
18:00 p.m.	Return to the valley, where apres-ski party in the caffe BEDANC starts. There a buffet dinner with snacks and appetizers will be waiting for us. Live enterteinment or DJ throughout the evening, with dancing to follow dinner.
20:00 p.m.	Departure back to the hotel.
